Skincare routine for under £5

Being a teenager and on a not so wide budget, I'm always looking for good quality products with a low price tag. I look for offers when they appear in boots, and i usually purchase makeup with my budget. I've never really been bothered about skincare, i saw it as a waste of time and i was a very lazy cleanser. I would use wipes to take my makeup off and that's about it. The thought of just using a face wipe now disgusts me! Not that i find people who just use face wipes for skin care, but that's where i can help. Now after watching beauty videos and reading blog posts for quite some time, I've seen how other girls go about their daily skin routine. Some of them have a mammoth routine, which i was disheartened by as i have a small budget, and i didn't really understand what it was all for! But i was browsing round boots and i came across their skincare range. They have their normal range which is in blue bottles, or the cucumber range which is in green, and is more refreshing, especially for the summer. I picked up the moisturising cream as i needed a moisturiser, and being only £1.52, i decided to try it out. After i used the moisturiser for a few days, i went back and got the cleanser and the toner. Again, each of them cost me £1.52, so altogether it cost £4.56, which is incredible. I have been using them for a good 3 weeks now and i have noticed a remarkable improvement on my skin. Being a teenager, i am very prone to spots, due to hormones etc. I also have oily skin, which doesn't help. It got me down alot and i used to slap on the concealer and foundation everyday, and now i don't, so my skin and pocket are thanking me!
I have found these to be very beneficial for my oily skin, plus these products are for all skin types, so everyone can use them.

How i use them:
I use these every night before i go to bed, and they are really refreshing. I squirt about a 2 pence coin size blob on my hand, and i massage it all over my face. It is quite a runny formula. After that i use a face wipe to take the cleanser off and any makeup the cleanser didn't, well, 'cleanse'. I then take a cotton pad and the toner and squirt a bit on the pad, and then dab all over my face. I tend to dab toner instead of rub, i find it works better on my skin. And then the last stage, i take the moisturiser, and massage it all over my face, and then my face is all fresh and soft!
I really like the boots cucumber skincare range, it soothes your skin making it feel super refreshed, as well as keeping your skin in tip top condition.

This skin care range is super great for beginners, it's cheap and cheerful and does the job. I know some people may not have gone near the boots skin care stand before, whether that be because it's cheap and therefore they think it's not going to be very good, but let me tell you, this range is AMAZING. I highly recommend it, it's refreshing, it looks after your skin, and it doesn't break the bank, what more could you want? And even better, everyone can buy it as it is for all skin types. Over the past few weeks I've been using it, i haven't really found any faults, and i find if i don't use these at night, then i do break out a little in the morning, which is never great. So overall, the boots essentials cucumber skin care range gets a massive thumbs up from me! If you have tried these or you are planning on trying these, please let me know what you think, I'd love to know if you love these as much as me!
